CLASSIFIEDS SECTION
Anybody can post an item “for sale” or “wanted” in the classifieds.
If you are not interested in buying an item, do not harass the seller about their price and/or in regards to the specific article that they are selling.

When items are posted for sale, it is not acceptable to post derogatory comments or comments that can hurt the sale for the seller. While it is a good thing to tip off a potential rip off, it’s not the place to speculate on items and post lowball offers for all to see. This can be viewed as a form of harassment and can make you liable for interfering with the sale. Instead, ask questions to reveal this, but do not do so in a way that creates a situation of conflict. For instance, ask details about the item and for pictures. Most times, private messages are the proper way to inquire about items either to the seller or an administrator.

Do not post items for sale that are stolen or not yours to sell. If we are asked, we will cooperate with the authorities in any way.

Internet scams can happen at any time. The owners and administrators of the Minnesota GM Performance Association are not responsible in any way and cannot guarantee the ability of a seller to complete the transaction or the quality of the items. It is strongly recommended that you use C.O.D. or an online escrow service. Always use common sense and do research on the product and the seller before making any deal.

The iTrader system has been implemented to allow member feedback in regards to a transaction that has taken place in the Marketplace. We ask that when completing the iTrader form, you post a link to the actual transaction. Before leaving negative feedback, we ask that you do everything possible to resolve the situation. If it cannot be worked out, a forum administrator can and will be used as an arbitrator to hopefully help solve the dispute. Beyond that, MNGMP makes no claims and has no liability in anything that is sold herein and is strictly the responsibility of the member to research the product and/or item before purchasing.

UNACCEPTABLE POSTS
We also understand that with this being an automobile related association and website/forum that some posts of above pg-13 nature will be made. We ask that you do your best to keep these to a minimum. If your posts are consistently above this rating, we will take measures to ensure that the forum maintains its user-friendly atmosphere. The general rule of thumb here is don't post anything that you would be embarrassed if somebody saw you looking at it.

This is not the place to post about illegal activity, such as street racing, robbing banks, or stealing candy from babies. The authorities often read what is posted and it’s probably not in your best interest to do so anyways.

No flame wars! - Do not make posts that incite arguments or any post that turns to arguments and flame wars, etc... Posts of this nature will not be tolerated and can result in the immediate closing or deletion or editing of the post and the suspension of the posting member's account.

Cross-linking to other sites to generate negative attention or harass others is not allowed and may result in disciplinary action. This should be pretty self explanatory.

We reserve the right to close, move or remove any message or portion of this web site for any or no reason whatsoever. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to report the thread to the message board administrators and moderators by clicking the "!" icon that is in the top right corner of each and every post on this message board. We have the ability to close or remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that closing or removal of the post is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

FINAL WORDS
We exist simply to help further the local automotive community in a positive way. The reason this organization was started was to help make some new friends that share a common interest. The multi-platform setup should allow some doors to open that weren't previously there.
We started this club for you - the ones who weren't happy with the current atmosphere in the local car scene. Like the Mission Statement says, we are organized to allow conversation free of outside influences which allows freedom to discuss products, events and other topics openly and with honesty.

We listen. Each year, new people will be elected by you - the members - to lead the organization. Feel free to voice your opinion.
Mission Statement

The Minnesota GM Performance Association was created to provide a place for people to share a common interest in late model GM performance vehicles. As a non-profit club, we offer an open atmosphere, while allowing us to give back to the community.

Our objectives are to:

Encourage and promote involvement in late model GM performance vehicles and powerplants.

Help each other with advice, projects and other activities in a positive way.

Use our funds exclusively for operating expenses, events and charitable causes. We will minimize our account balance on a yearly basis with the excess going to a different charity every year.

Provide a club free of outside influences which allows freedom to discuss products, events and other topics openly and with honesty.

Include the general membership or the majority consensus in the decision making process in such a way as to represent the club as a whole and not individual wants of the elected officials or other influential members.
I have read, and agree to abide by the Minnesota GM Performance Association rules.
